A new trailer for Frozen 2 premiered this morning on Good Morning America. In the sequel, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf find themselves on a grand adventure to the mysterious enchanted forest that looks like a perpetual world of autumn.
D23’s first-look footage showed off scenes focusing on Elsa and Anna’s mother, Iduna (voiced by Evan Rachel Wood) and Sterling K. Brown’s character Mattias, a lieutenant who has been leading a troop of soldiers lost in the enchanted forest for years. “Into the Unknown,” a new Elsa-centered song that’s definitely positioned to be the sequel’s “Let It Go,” revealed Elsa’s call to adventure.
This new trailer dives into the mythos of Arendelle, giving us more details about the mysterious forest — and reveals that the magic Elsa wields is more powerful than she realizes. Apparently, the lure of it is so strong that it may cost her. As Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf venture deeper into the enchanted forest, they come across dangerous that none of them anticipated.
Frozen 2 hits theaters on Nov. 22.
