Ori and the Will of the Wisps collector’s edition celebrates its ethereal art and music

Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the follow-up to Moon Studios’ beautiful Ori and the Blind Forest, is one of the games we’re most excited to play in 2020. The gameplay trailer shows off another magical side-scrolling adventure that looks just as colorful, ethereal, and adorable as its acclaimed predecessor.

Originally due to be released on Feb. 11, Microsoft announced at The Game Awards that Ori and the Will of the Wisps would be delayed by a month; its new release date is March 11. Pre-orders for the game are available now, though, including a collector’s edition that celebrates the game’s neon-tinged art and atmospheric soundtrack.

As part of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere program, the digital edition will be playable on both Xbox One and Windows PC.

Here’s where to buy the game, as well as a breakdown of everything you get with each edition.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is available on both Xbox One and Windows PC, and costs $29.99. That price includes just the base game — there are no pre-order discounts or retailer-exclusive offers. It’s important to note, though, that if you buy a physical disc you won’t be able to play Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Windows PC. Only digital titles are eligible for the Play Anywhere program, which allows users to play games and save progress between Windows PC and Xbox One.
