Some Call of Duty: Warzone players are making friends in Bunker 11

Earlier this week, the new patch for Call of Duty: Warzone allowed players to start opening bunkers in the battle royale map — including the mysterious Bunker 11. On Wednesday, we wrote about some players taking advantage of hard-working Call of Duty secret hunters looking to explore the new, underground loot caves. But some players are making friends on their way to check out the new easter egg.

Reddit user eljefeo posted an image to the Warzone subreddit of an entire squad of enemy players hanging out in Bunker 11, with the title “Not everyone is a jerk at the bunker, as long as you get the blueprint first, let ‘em look around.” Eljefeo is referring to the Mud Dauber MP7 blueprint players can find inside the Bunker, adding it to their collection.

In the comments, other players tell similar stories. “Me and my brother made it yesterday,” wrote user Koiiin. “There was a team waiting just outside of the bunker waiting for someone to open it. As soon as they saw us they dropped all their weapons, we opened the bunker and everyone got their blueprint. Thank god there are still some good guys in this game.”

Players have tried to communicate their desire for peace in a number of ways, including spray painting hearts on the ground or hiding in corners with shields. And while some have found some new pals, other’s attempts at kindness ended with the enemy team insisting on killing them — which is, as user MellowToaster points out, the point of the game.

But next time you consider dropping in to take a look at Bunker 11, try waiting to see what your enemies do before you kill them. Sure, there’s a great chance they could just turn around and kill you. But maybe, just maybe, you’ll make a new friend.
